Continuously Molded O-Rings

Continuously molded O-rings are O-ring seals that are manufactured in a continuous process, rather than being cut from a pre-formed piece of material. This manufacturing method allows for the production of O-rings with consistent dimensions and high quality.

Continuously molded O-rings are made by extruding a continuous strip of elastomeric material through a die, which shapes the material into the desired O-ring shape. The O-ring is then cured, or vulcanized, using heat and pressure to create a strong, durable seal.

There are several benefits to using continuously molded O-rings. They can be produced in large quantities with consistent quality, and they can be made in a wide range of sizes and materials. Continuously molded O-rings are also more resistant to deformation and have a longer lifespan than cut O-rings, making them a reliable choice for many sealing applications.

Overall, continuously molded O-rings are a popular choice for sealing applications due to their consistent quality, wide range of sizes and materials, and durability.

Typical applications are large chambers, vessels, lids, doors, containers, vacuum, high-pressure and specialty semi-dynamic applications.  These O-Rings feature consistent properties throughout the diameter of the ring, and reduced potential for contamination through a spliced joint.

These are the advantages of our production system:

  • No Internal Diameter dimensional limits (200mm ID min.)
  • No molding costs
  • No minimum quantity for purchase order
  • Mechanical performances comparable to traditional system made O-Rings (compression and injection molding)
  • Competitive prices
  • Fast deliveries
  • O-Rings customization

*Min 200mm ID and 2.62mm cross section
