The D style wiper is one of the most common wiping solutions for standard hydraulic applications. This wiper has the interference fit on the outside diameter, with a wiping edge that assures reliable protection against penetration of dust and dirt whilst allowing backflow of residual oil film. The D style wiper can also come with a slotted heel design, which helps prevent pressure traps from forming between the rod seal and wiper.
