Glass filled nylon wear rings are designed for reciprocating piston and rod bearing applications. The 612-Style wear-rings are primarily used on hydraulic/pneumatic cylinder pistons and rod glands. Their main function is to prevent metal-to-metal scoring as well as insuring that reciprocating parts are properly centered.

The material is heat stabilised 33% glass reinforced nylon 66, which offers excellent bearing properties. The material is compatible with hydraulic and lubricating oils.
