HNBR O-Rings are hydrogenated nitrile seals with better heat, ozone, and chemical resistance than standard Nitrile, used to seal fuel systems, oil lines, and hot-running equipment. The hydrogenation process also gives them stronger mechanical properties, so they hold up to wear and pressure. Most run about 36% ACN content, which improves resistance to fuels and polar lubricants.
They handle petroleum oils, aliphatic hydrocarbons, vegetable and silicone oils, ethylene glycol, and water and steam up to 300F. Skip them for chlorinated hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, ethers, and strong acids. Available in 70, 80, and 90 durometer in green or black, so you can match your seal to the pressure and fit you need. Common sizes ship from stock.
