Silicone Core FEP-Encapsulated O-Rings (FDA compliant)

A specialty sealing solution designed for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical processing applications where extreme chemical resistance and product purity are critical. These O-rings combine an FDA-grade silicone core for elasticity with an FDA-compliant FEP fluoropolymer encapsulation, so the process fluid only contacts the chemically inert FEP surface.

In real-world use, Silicone core FEP-encapsulated O-rings excel in pumps, valves, fittings, and transfer systems exposed to aggressive chemicals, solvents, acids, and repeated CIP cleaning cycles. The FEP jacket delivers PTFE-like chemical resistance and cleanliness, while the silicone core provides better compression and sealing force than solid PTFE seals, reducing leaks and improving reliability.
